Payment and Refund Policy

This Payment and Refund Policy applies to paid TAM plans, subscriptions, pilot plans, add-ons, usage-based charges, enterprise services, and related paid services.

1. Payment Processor

Payments may be processed by Stripe or another payment processor. Payment processors handle card and payment method information according to their own terms and privacy policies.

We do not store full card numbers.

2. Prices and Taxes

Prices are shown at checkout, in the app, on an order form, or invoice. Prices may exclude taxes unless stated otherwise.

You are responsible for applicable taxes, duties, bank charges, currency conversion fees, and similar charges unless stated otherwise.

3. Subscriptions

Subscription plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless canceled before renewal.

Your billing cycle, plan, renewal date, and amount are shown at checkout, in subscription settings, invoice, or order form.

4. Usage-Based Fees

If a plan includes usage-based billing, charges may be based on seats, workspaces, projects, storage, API usage, MCP/tool calls, integrations, automation usage, or other usage metrics described at purchase or in an order form.

5. Cancellation

You may cancel according to the instructions in account settings, billing portal, order form, or by contacting billing@thetam.app.

Cancellation stops future renewals. It does not automatically refund charges already incurred unless required by law or expressly stated in an order form.

6. Refunds

Unless required by law or stated in a written agreement:

monthly subscription fees are non-refundable once a billing period begins;

annual subscription fees may be refundable only at our discretion or as stated in the order form;

setup, migration, onboarding, consulting, custom development, and professional services fees are non-refundable once work begins;

usage-based fees are non-refundable once incurred;

credits may be issued at our discretion.

If we terminate a paid plan for convenience, we may provide a prorated refund or credit for unused prepaid fees, excluding non-refundable services and usage charges.

7. Failed Payments

If payment fails, we may retry the payment, notify the account owner, restrict paid features, suspend the workspace, or terminate the subscription after reasonable notice.

8. Chargebacks

If you initiate a chargeback, we may suspend related accounts or workspaces while the dispute is processed. Contact billing@thetam.app first to resolve billing issues.

9. Enterprise and Custom Terms

Enterprise, pilot, or custom agreements may override this Policy where expressly stated.
